Skill Sessions

Larry and Donna are now offering two levels of play during our Sunday 12:00–1:30 p.m. and Tuesday’s 11-12 court sessions. Non-member residents are welcome to try two sessions before joining as club members. Sign up on YourCourts!

1st Court – True Novice Players
For players who are just learning how to play pickleball and want to learn the fundamentals while playing within a foursome.

2nd Court – Experienced Players
For players who already know the basics and would like to improve specific parts of their game, including net play, dinking, drop shots, serving, and other skills.

Doubles Championship Results from 9/26 & 9/27

The Pickleball Club concluded our season with the Doubles Club Championships this past weekend! Five divisions competed—Women’s Intermediate, Women’s Advanced Intermediate, Women’s Advanced, Men’s Advanced Intermediate, and Men’s Advanced—requiring a two-day format on Saturday, September 26, and Sunday, September 27.

And what a weekend it was! There were great rallies, spectacular shots, close matches, and, of course, plenty of fun. We wrapped up the weekend with our 5th Annual Taco Fiesta.

This event is a Member giveback, with reduced prices to thank our wonderful membership!

The celebration starts after our Doubles Club Championship Finals!!! We’ll have great Pickleball, fun, and food! REGISTER HERE!

Who: Pickleball Members (single members may invite a guest for an additional $10)
When: Sunday, September 27th. Time TBD by the draw schedule, anticipated between 12:30 and 1:30 (final time to be sent out with the draw)
Where: Pickleball Courts
What: Tacos, beans, rice, and quesadillas and a Churro cart!

Whether you’re curious about pickleball or just getting started, the Villages Pickleball Club is here to help! (Click the link for full info!) We’ll teach you the fundamentals, help you improve your skills, and make sure you have fun while learning to play safely.
