Are you interested in participating in the third annual Rossmoor Invitational?

Rossmoor is another 55+ community, and they are coming to the Villages on Saturday, April 25^th from 9 AM to 3 PM for a social day of Pickleball Fun, Friendship, and Camaraderie!

We are looking for players to register with their preferred partner, giving you time to practice together. You may register in both doubles and mixed doubles categories, but will only play in one category, based on need. All participants will be selected by the Tournament Committee. Matches will be assigned based on the players that Rossmoor sends us. All participants must be 55 or over, to comply with Rossmoor’s request. We have requested that Rossmoor send us their roster three weeks before the tournament. In the meantime, practice with your chosen partner(s) in case you are selected to participate. Registration is open March 26th to April 7^th. We hope to notify participants by April 11^th.

Space is limited, based on Rossmoor participation.

Pickleball didn’t start with a serious name—so the names of shots never stood a chance! Pickleball is one of the few sports that arrived with a built-in sense of humor. Was that Ball In or Out???

We’ve all made a call we believed was clearly in (or out), only to have our opponents see it differently. In the moment, that can be frustrating—but Kim’s article on In and Out Balls puts those situations into perspective. She does a great job explaining how line calls are often influenced by the angle and viewpoint we have of the ball.

It’s a great article to read—and to take to heart. In the end, remember: it’s just a game. 😊

Paddle Battle – VGCC vs SCVCC 11/2/25

Each player played two matches, consisting of two games to 11, win by two points. After the first game, VGCC played a different SCVCC team. Silver Creek won 20-9, with several close games. Full results are on our Tournament Page.

Mixed Club Championship results and 10th Anniversary Celebration!

Our internal event schedule wrapped up with one heck of a celebration!

We held our Mixed Club Championships, which was a fun and intense event between three different levels of players. Full story available here!

Jim and Nancy Keane join the 10th Anniversary Celebration

Top that off with a Taco & Churro Fiesta that celebrated our 10th Anniversary as a Club! Nancy Keane, the woman who worked tirelessly to bring Pickleball to the Villages, celebrated with us. She expressed how happy she was at all we’ve accomplished, thank you Nancy!
