YourCourts has added new functionality allowing players to be placed on a waiting list if all courts are reserved. If a reservation slot opens at a time you have requested, all those on the waiting list will be notified. The reservation slot will be filled on a first come, first served basis, with notifications sent via either email or text.
Important:
-
- First, check your email and text status. Click this link for information on how to check your email and text status. Email notifications must be activated and your phone number must be entered into the Mobile field.
- We have two separate court facilities here at The Villages. This is because we only allow ball machine reservations on court one.
Court Facility refers to Courts 2, 3 and 4
Court 1 refers to Court 1 only
Check the YourCourts reservations. When you see all timeslots filled, as shown below at 4:30 and 6:00, follow the process below to join the Wait List.
-
- In the screenshot above, there is now a new header titled “Wait List Rules”. Clicking on the link for “Wait List Rules” shows the relevant information:
- In the header, click Join to open the Wait List, a pop-up window will appear.
- The first step is to select which Courts you want to join the Wait List for. As explained above, Court Facility puts you on the Wait List for Courts 2, 3 and 4. Court 1 Facility only puts you on the Wait List for Court 1:
- Select the start time you want to be placed on the Wait List for. You may select any duration for the Wait List, from one hour to all day.
Example: If all courts were filled from 10:00 to 3:00, entering 10:00AM would let you know any reservations between 10:00 and your selected end time.
Here, we’re selecting 4:30 PM:
- Select the end time of the time slot you want to be placed on the Wait List for.
Example: If you selected 10:00 above and 4:30 below, you would be notified of any cancellations between 10:00 and 4:30.
Here, we’re selecting 6:00 PM:
- Select the appropriate reservation duration:
9:00 to 12:00 are 60-minute timeslots
12:00 to 7:30 are 90-minute timeslots
Since we selected reservations between 4:30 and 6:00, we choose 90 minutes. If your reservation spans morning and afternoon hours, select 60 minutes. (For mixed reservations, choose 90 minutes)
- Select either Email or SMS/Text for your notification and click Save.
NOTE: You must have email notifications activated to receive an email
NOTE: Your phone number must be listed as a cell phone to receive a text
If your phone number is not under Mobile, it will not be displayed here!
- The pop-up window closes and you will see a confirmation message displayed on the screen you have successfully been added to the Wait List. You can Edit or Cancel your request by clicking the appropriate icon.
- If someone cancels a court, you will either receive an email or a text advising the court is available.
EVERYONE who has signed up for the Wait List will be notified. Any reservation is on a first-come basis!
